We are thrilled to give members of PfGG the opportunity to hear directly about best practices from both Statistics Denmark and The Danish Institute for Human Rights.
This webinar will feature chief statistician from Statistics Denmark, Niels Ploug, and Maria Ploug Petersen and Birgitte Feiring from The Danish Institute for Human Rights .
Mr. Ploug will talk about the project “Our Goals” and the process around identifying supplementary SDG indicators in Denmark. Mr. Ploug has worked at the heart of this effort and has also been involved in the UN statistical committee as well as worked with capacity building for statistical bureaus around the world.
Ms. Petersen and Ms. Feiring will explain the Human Rights Guide to the SDGs and walk through how this instrument can be used by policy makers to design national action plans based on human rights.
